The Stalpen is a mechanical tree felling lever that can push trees in the desired direction or serve as a support, even when the tree’s natural lean is in another direction. It ensures safe felling even with very difficult trees. Stalpen is available in one size with a maximum pressure of 2600 kg.

Stalpen consists of a crank and a gearbox with gears, which drive an extending rack. The crank can be turned forward to increase pressure, or backward to reduce it. Stalpen has a unique release mechanism that allows you to crank both forward and backward under full load without the operator needing to lift a “locking device.” This prevents kickback even if the crank is released.

The choice of materials and quality workmanship in Stalpen are of the highest importance, as safety in forestry work is the top priority. Stalpen is designed to withstand high forces such as overhangs, wind gusts, and incorrect tree lean. Its mechanics are extremely reliable since they consist only of gears and a rack. We do not use wire, nylon straps, or other alternatives for the drive mechanism—everything is designed to minimize the risk of tangling and wear.

Stalpen does not replace a winch or other specialized machines for difficult and high-risk work. Good judgment and professional experience are always essential when felling trees.
