Arboristen V2 – High-Reach Manual Chainsaw for Safe Cutting

Arboristen Version 2 is a throw saw designed to ensure safe and efficient cutting of hard-to-reach branches. This product allows users to cut branches up to 10 meters (33 feet) high without the need for a ladder or professional assistance. Thanks to the long straps, the user can stand safely on the ground while operating the saw. This feature makes Arboristen a safe tool that helps prevent injuries from falling branches and limbs.

The chain’s teeth are bi-directional, meaning it cuts in both directions as the straps are pulled back and forth. This ensures continuous, efficient cutting and reduces wasted energy. Unlike other products in our range, Arboristen has teeth on both the top and bottom of the chain, enabling cutting from either side. It doesn’t matter which side the chain lands on when placed over the branch – the user can start cutting immediately without needing to flip the chain.

What’s New in Version 2 Compared to V1:

1. Stronger Chain-to-Strap Connection
   The link between the saw chain and straps is now much more robust, consisting of two steel links connected by a 6 mm screw-lock carabiner. The kit includes an M6 wrench for easy opening and closing of the carabiners.

2. Improved Throw Line and Weight
   Version 2 now includes a 2 mm throw line and a small but adequately heavy throw weight, making accurate throws much easier. The line has low friction against branches, ensuring it doesn’t get stuck on the way down.

3. High-Visibility Color
   The long straps, throw line, and weight are now colored orange for enhanced visibility and easier tracking.

4. No Need for Disassembly Between Cuts
   Unlike Version 1, the tool no longer needs to be disassembled between cuts. This allows you to cut multiple branches more efficiently.

5. Spare Parts Available
   Replacement parts can be purchased separately.
